Instead of the week in photo's in the Sunday paper, we thought we would do a month in photo's since I think it has been that long since I posted. The first thing that happened was that Mike walked for graduation! Then of course- in true Bailey fashion - we had a party for family and friends the next week! Then the week after that on Memorial Day weekend we went up by Birch Creek and went four-wheeling and went on a crazy hike. It was all shale and just short of vertical - at least that what it seemed like! We stuck Joel in the carrier and took him right on up with us. It took over an hour to get up and it took dad just over 6 minutes to get down, with Joel. I'm glad I didn't pay too much attention!
This is what we hiked up to. There is an old Indian Burial ground here with reconstructed ladders. The only thing is once you got up to it, you had to rock climb the rest of the way. Jason was the only one brave enough to climb up there, but the ladders weren't in any type of shape to go on!

Here is Joel and Dad starting the climb up the mountain.

This was Joel and Elise after our four wheeler ride. Joel loves the four wheeler! It is his favorite thing in the world!

Just today, Matt needed Joel as a poster child for something for his business class so we got the camera out and played around. Aren't these little boots just the cutest thing!

Here is Joel with uncle Matt's cowboy hat! He didn't want to keep his hat on and his boots were falling off so he looks taller than he is!

I also got a chance to play with my external flash for the camera and liked the way this picture turned out- so I thought I would share!

And, finally this is the way we cool off in the summer!
