Where O Where did my little by go, Where O Where Could He Be

In the last two weeks Joel has cut 2 teeth and learned to scoot/crawl around the house. I came in from the other room where I left for a couple of minutes and came back to this. Of course I had to take a picture before I pulled him out!

What Is This???

We took Joel to the bird park and I don't think he liked it! Neither did I. It's scary having birds that are supposed to run away from you run full speed towards you!!!


This can't be right! Does anyone know what kind of bird this is? I think it's a hybrid!

Mike and Joel have fun hanging out in the garage. Mike was in charge of Joel for a while and they both ended up on in the garage working on stuff. Mike fixed the scooter for the lady that we are staying with and Joel helped him out by playing in the car.

And, congratulations to Matt and Ashley. They are getting married in October and we are all very excited. And yeah, we get to see Allen on Thursday!

Two Years

It all started with a broken down car on Halloween. Who knew that a little incident would turn into finding someone to fix my cars forever! Today is our 2 year anniversary. It is fun to look back at the last two years and see wedding pictures and then look to how things have changed and changed for the better as we have added to our family! Its amazing how time flies and how you love each other more and more every day! I love you honey!


And the fun is yet to come!

Just keep swimming, just keep swimming

Here are more of our escapades in Washington. A friend from church and I go walking everyday and Joel always falls asleep in the car. This time he pulled his hat down over his face and was conked out! He got a new carseat because I am 95% sure that he is over the 20lb weight limit of his old one. We don't have a scale here to check but he's growing out of all his clothes and feels like a rock!
Summers here are supposed to be incredibly hot (I have yet to see the proof - It was 100 degrees when we got here and then ever since has been windy, cold and rainy. On the first nice day we got out Joel's pool and tried it out. He loved it! I got a bazillion pictures but are limiting myself to a couple.

Today we went to the big pool! Joel didn't know quite what to think of it. We got him a baby tube that he could float around on. After awhile he warmed up the idea and fell asleep while bobbing along! Hope everyone else is enjoying their summer!

Adventures in Washington... so far

We finally got settled in in Washington. Mike is enjoying his new job and is getting excited to come back in December for the real thing. In the mean time, Joel and I have been exploring all of the parks here. We go to a new place everyday. When we find a really fun place- we take Mike there on the weekends. These pictures are from the Howard-Amon park. They have a fun play set and baby swings. Joel had fun riding in the swing and going down the slide with mommy.
