Valentines Day Fun

Isn't my sweetheart the cutest thing in the world??? I think he is! Since he isn't here I guess I get to brag about how wonderful he is!!! We had a pretty fun day on the day after Valentines day! On valentines day Mike came home with a migrain so he went to sleep and I spent the day with Joel! But, we celebrated V-day on the day after V-day. We went to the institute dinner and dance while aunt Elise babysat! Mike bought me the complete series of Christy and a chocolate rose! Yum, Yum! I took him to see Glen Beck when he came to give a benifit concert at the beginning of February. Isn't it fun to be married!

Something to laugh at

I saw the funniest thing in the entire world yesterday and had to share it! It made me chuckle all day long. I was asked to help with a musical number for Relief Society at the nursing home (rather funny in and of itself because I am not musically inclined!). I was taking Joel out to the car and saw a squirel trying to take an entire loaf of french bread up a tree. He would get half way up the tree and the bread would drop. He would run down after it, look both ways, and snatch it up and try again! When I was leaving he got it to the top and it dropped again! When I came back I saw the bread at the bottom of the tree and no squirrel so I guess he gave up, but I laughed about it the entire day!

A Sad Scene

Mike and I were laughing about our TV situation and though it was too funny that we were watching a tiny television with a new big TV that doesn't work right behind it! Our TV broke on Christmas Eve. I told Mike he could get whatever TV he wanted and we ended up with a 56" TV. Well, it finally arrived and something happened during shipping and it didn't work. While we are still working with getting it exchanged, we borrowed a TV from my mom and dad. We have been laughing that we are watching this old TV that still works right in front of a huge TV that doesn't!
