Adventures in Washington... so far
We finally got settled in in Washington. Mike is enjoying his new job and is getting excited to come back in December for the real thing. In the mean time, Joel and I have been exploring all of the parks here. We go to a new place everyday. When we find a really fun place- we take Mike there on the weekends. These pictures are from the Howard-Amon park. They have a fun play set and baby swings. Joel had fun riding in the swing and going down the slide with mommy.

That swing picture is about the cutest thing I have ever seen! Sheesh you have a cute little boy! The cake recipe is super simple... make a cake mix (use apple sauce in place of oil if you want less fat) and pour it divided into a fun molded pan (or glass bowls... just a smaller size for portions), After it is baked, cut out the middle, fill with hot fudge (so it comes oozing out), top with ice cream, and sprinkle with syrup! Enjoy the teething stage! I miss you guys and I will return your phone call, Promise! Probably on Saturday when minutes are free :-)
