This weekend the Holt Arena had the Chrome in the Dome car show going on, and with Mike being the car fanatic that he is --- we went! It was actually pretty cool and I found my dream car! This is a '67 Ford Mustang convertible, not the fast back (are you impressed? Mike had to tell me the last detail, but I knew the others. I am learning slowly but surely!) I decided that if Mike is going to have a shop as big as the house (his dream) he could restore one of these for me and I would be okay with it!

This is grandpa Garrie's Jeep (a family friend and Mike's old boss at the shop). It's a '47 Jeep that he has fixed up and entered into the show. Mike and Joel are standing in front of it. We voted for this one!

This one was another cool car that was there-- it had a beautiful paint job, or so I was told!

Well, as you can see, I am very outnumbered in this family. Me thinking car shows are fun... what's this world coming too! (read this with a smile)

Those are awesome cars~how bout you Mike, and Joel come cruisin over this way in one of those bad boys so we can all stay up, eat lots and play games!!?!?!
Angie, we have to get together sometime. :) Having a dad that's a mechanic and a husband that's partially a mechanic and partially an auto body guy . . . I'm in the same boat. I earned my phT (put him through) in Auto body and can point out almost as many flaws and how to fix them as Paul. I could probably quote verbatim all the stuff we've had to do to our Jeep to get it running. Mike should come see it and visit Paul about it. They'd probably have a blast talking cars and jeeps. :)
You have been Corrupted!!! (eesh... I know the feeling. Kyle loves cars, I just wish he were a little more mechanical!)
