The Fair
On Tuesday we went to the Eastern Idaho State Fair and found out that Joel LOVES goats! We go to the fair every year so I can have a Tiger Ear (a really big scone with cinnamon and honey butter- yum yum!). Yes, I will admit that that is the biggest draw to the fair for me, but while we were there we took Joel to the petting zoo. He loved it! He liked it last year, but was a little to small to know what was going on. He came home saying "goat" over and over again. Here are a few pictures at the petting zoo.

That's nice he got to get in there and pet the goats. We stayed safely on the outside of the gates and stuck our hands through.

Oh how I LOVE the fair....food! If it was still fair week over there, I would ask you to go eat one of those tasty treats for me! :) LOL Joel and Lexi need to get together and feed the goats-it's one of her fav's too!!
Great PICTURES! And how awesome that you were able to go to Alaska with your family!!! Where HAVEN'T you been? Seriously! It looks like a great time was had. And without having a child...now that's a vacation! :)
P-S The story about the cookie is adorable. I can just imagine it all in my head! Good for you for writing it down. I need to write more of those moments down so I don't forget them! Joel is a smart one. Way to go kid!
