The Garbage Man
As I watched Joel for the last couple weeks run out the door- plop down on the front porch and watch the garbage man with awe, I wondered if the garbage man realized he was a hero to my 2 year old. A garbage man is not something you generally think of as something to aspire to (especially in my neighborhood where there are more families with more than one child in diapers than not!). However, to a young boy that is the COOLEST job in the world. You get to drive a big truck and dump things. You also get to sometimes hang on to the outside of the truck WHILE ITS DRIVING. What little boy wouldn't want that! So, here are to the hero's of little boys -- the garbage man!

Friday is an exciting time at our house too. We always yell thank you to the "diaper man" because he takes away the "smelly peuw peuws". What a terrible job with so many young kids around :)
heaven bless the garbage men in the world! So cute that your son adores them!!
LOVE this!!! Joel just reminded me to be grateful for them too!! We take them for granted!!
I love that second picture. He looks so thoughtful, and maybe a little jealous. So cute. Oh and happy late birthday. I don't know about you but I am getting more and more excited about being one of the youngest members of our graduating class.
