Well, we finally finished it. Well, as much as I can call something finished -- there is always things to add and do, but it's mostly done ; )! We had a closet in the basement off the main room that we turned into our winter retreat! My boys need a place to run and play in the winter when we are cooped up for months. I painted the tree's on the wall, then Mike put up the fence around the the outside, and then I got to paint again - lucky me! The boys love it! Even Conner can get up it, just not always down it. I got the apple idea from a website called iammommahearmeroar.blogspot.com. It's one of my favorite places to look for cute little boy stuff - which is hard to find sometimes. Everything else came out of my head. I am glad to see there is still something up there rattling around ; ).
Underneath we have a little reading nook with a bean bag, some snuggle toys, and books
We were given a wheel that we added to the top for steering to all those far off places on grand adventures!
The apples are really fun. The kids have a really fun time taking them down and putting them up. Conner's favorite one is the one right past his reach on the slide. It's pretty funny to watch him try and get it!
We are also working on our last big inside project for our house. We are finishing the downstairs bathroom. Last week Mike and I put in the tile. I am glad that big project is finally done - but I'm pleased with the way it turned out.
It's really nice to finally get a couple projects done and worked on! Hopefully this next week will be just as productive!!!

Sadie and I are looking at your treehouse pictures and she said "that looks cool, I want to climb those stairs," You are so creative and it turned out awesome!

I Love it!! Carter looked at it and said "ooooh I want that!!" It is awesome!! And the bathroom looks like it is coming together nicely. The tile looks great!

Can we schedule a week vacation at your fam's house? I LOVE the Treehouse!! What an awesome idea! And that bathroom is GORGEOUS! You two could start a business....our pinkish/brown tile in our bathroom could use some TLC. (wink wink)Way to go!
I think we're planning a trip to Idaho this summer just me and the girlies (in July while Nick goes on a high adventure with the boy scouts) so we'll definitely have to meet up. I'll be carless so that's the only issue... but we'll figure it out! It would be great to FINALLY get together!!! Have fun in that treehouse!!! XOXOXO
