Happy Easter

What an important and special day Easter is. I always appreciate all the talks and lessons given in church on Easter Sunday that help direct our thoughts and feelings towards the Savior and his amazing sacrifice for all of us. If you ever need to feel the spirit in your life read the words to "I Stand All Amazed" - it always gives me goose bumps.
Along with the spiritual things that are so important we have also had a lot of fun with family and cousins and Easter egg hunts and Easter baskets. I actually remembered to take out the camera and take real pictures! Yesterday we went down to Utah to help Mike's brother with some work on his basement. They had an Easter egg hunt that was a lot of fun and helped show my boys what you actually do at an Easter egg hunt. (I never know how much they remember from the previous year because they are so little). Then Today we have Mike's sister's family with us for the week and the Easter bunny left a TON of eggs at our house. The boys had so much fun finding Easter eggs!
Here we have Joel and Conner with 3 of their cousins waiting to go get all those eggs!
The hunt begins!!!
Conner decided he was done finding eggs and just wanted to eat what was inside! He's a boy after my own heart and LOVES chocolate!
After finding eggs and opening Easter baskets we got everyone dressed in their Easter outfits- and everyone looked so cute! Here are Joel and Conner's cousins that are staying with us along with my boys.
An elusive family picture! It's nice when you have someone else there to make funny faces at the kids and take the picture! (and yes, I am holding Joel in place ;)!
We also got some pictures of the boys!
This is one of my favorites!

But don't worry it didn't last long! It ended with Conner thinking Joel was standing to close and giving him a piece of his mind with his teeth (one of his only defenses- and we stopped it before anything serious happened -- although it's kinda funny and I don't feel all that bad for Joel when something happens because trust me - most of the time Joel deserves it!).
After church we went to Grandma's for a wonderful meal and Joel got to find more Easter eggs and Mike and I got to enjoy everyone else finding their hidden Easter baskets. (Ours were hidden on the couch this year!) Then the kid's sugar high died down and we sent them to bed early!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter Sunday and that you remembered the true meaning of Easter and had some fun with your families too!

Oh My what handsome boys you have! They're handsome all the time, but I'm loving these little matching suits on them!! Their personalities are shown in these pictures. And you look so good Angie! What a fun memorable Easter weekend!! XOXO

Okay, I am jealous that you got such cute family pics and pics of the boys. I tried SOOO hard yest to get a pic of Siena and Turin together and it was IMPOSSIBLE! Why are my kids incapable of both looking and smiling at the camera at the same time? Our family one was a total flop too. Your boys look so handsome in their little suits! Too cute.
